Bravo announces 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' pickup By Christopher Rocchio, 03/10/2010 **Kim Richards as a child actress
Bravo has formally announced it has ordered The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the sixth installment in the network's The Real Housewives reality franchise.
While Bravo has yet to reveal their identities, a January report claimed the cast will include Kathy Hilton's sisters Kim [pictured above, From KennyERJ: Wow, don't you all remember her! (if you're old enough, lol) She was in all those Disney movies: Escape to Witch Mountain, No Deposit, No Return and Return from Witch Mountain. She also played in the TV show Nanny and The Professor. I always wondered what happened to her!] and Kyle Richards as well as Villa Blanca restaurant owner Lisa Todd.
"Lisa, Kim and Kyle are all hideously wealthy," a source told RadarOnline at the time. "They live in these amazing houses, drive beautiful cars, live these fabulous lives and spend money like it's going out of fashion."
Reports of the project first surfaced last May after casting notices seeking "outgoing, exciting, strong, focused women who reside in and around the Beverly Hills area that want to share their lives" were released.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is being produced by Evolution Media -- the same production company behind the franchise's Orange County installment.
Bravo announced the series pickup as part of a larger announcement in which the network unveiled plans to expand to an unspecified fifth night of original programming and film all future programming in high-definition.
In addition, the network also announced the renewals of The Fashion Show, Million Dollar Listing and Tabatha's Salon Takeover and picks up three new series; Social Club, Million Dollar Decorators and Pregnant In Heels docu-dramas; and the development of five additional reality projects -- including a docu-reality series starring former So You Think You Can Dance choreographer Mia Michaels.
I remember her, had no idea she was related to Kathy Hilton. That would be Paris's mom, right? _________________ "This stuff is beyond crap. It is what crap wants to be when it grows up"
