Speculation continues on Bravo's casting for "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."
Previously, The Dish Rag reported that Paris Hilton's aunts, Kim and Kyle Richards, had allegedly signed on to the series. Now, we hear Brenda Harvey, Paris Hilton's on-again-off-again BFF Nicole Richie's mom, may join, as well.
While reports credit Perez Hilton for the scoop, Popcrunch reported the story late last week.
Harvey was R&B legend Lionel Richie's first wife, his high school sweetheart. The couple informally adopted Nicole at age two after it became clear that her birth parents, who were in Lionel's band at the time, were unable to raise her.
They formally adopted Nicole when she was nine, but soon after, the couple's relationship met a bitter end. Brenda and Lionel bitterly divorced in 1993 after it became public that Lionel Richie was having an affair.
We hope Harvey accepts the offer. Nothing is better than watching a scorned woman spend her ex-husband's cash!
A Bravo representative wasn't available when The Dish Rag contacted the network over the weekend. This morning, a Bravo representative told us that they haven't made any announcements regarding this casting and couldn't confirm at this time.
