Bravo renews 'Fashion Show,' 'Million Dollar Listing,' 'Salon Takeover'
By Christopher Rocchio, 03/10/2010

Bravo has announced it has renewed The Fashion Show for a second season, Million Dollar Listing for a fourth season, and Tabatha's Salon Takeover for a third season.

Like its inaugural edition, The Fashion Show's second season will follow a group of professional designers as they compete in a Project Runway-like competition to have their designs sold for the mass retail market.

Isaac Mizrahi will reprise his hosting and judging roles for the new season, however the network's renewal announcement omitted any mention of singer Kelly Rowland -- who had co-hosted The Fashion Show's first season with Mizrahi and also served alongside him as a member of the show's judging panel. A Bravo representative would not comment on Rowland's second-season status when contacted by Reality TV World.

The first season of The Fashion Show -- Bravo's first attempt to replace Project Runway, which it lost to Lifetime in 2009 following a nearly year-long legal dispute -- premiered last May and averaged only about one million total viewers per episode, a fraction of the ratings Project Runway had previously delivered for the network.

Late last year, Bravo also premiered Launch My Line, a second reality fashion competition that also drew weak ratings.

The Fashion Show is produced by Left/Right Productions.

Million Dollar Listing's fourth season will continue to follow a group of Los Angeles realtors as they attempt to sell multi-million dollar properties in exclusive neighborhoods in Hollywood, Malibu and Beverly Hills.

Bravo's renewal announcement did not specify whether second and third-season Million Dollar Listing stars Josh Flagg, Madison Hildebrand and Chad Rogers will return for the new season. Similar to Rowland, a Bravo representative would not confirm their fourth-season participations.

The series is produced by World of Wonder, with Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato serving as executive producers.

Tabatha's Salon Takeover's third season will continue to follow former Shear Genius first-season finalist Tabatha Coffey as she attempts to improve hair salons across America by visiting struggling establishments and recommending changes after evaluating both the salon and its staff.

The Kitchen Nightmares-like reality series is produced by Reveille LLC.

Bravo announced the renewals as part of a larger announcement in which the network unveiled plans to expand to an unspecified fifth night of original programming and film all future programming in high-definition.

In addition, the network also announced the pickup of a new The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills edition of its The Real Housewives franchise; the pickup of new docu-dramas Miami Social Club, Million Dollar Decorators and Pregnant In Heels; and the development of five additional reality projects -- including a docu-reality series starring former So You Think You Can Dance choreographer Mia Michaels.

Woo Hoo! So glad Tabatha's Salon Takeover is coming back. Love that show. Also like Million Dollar Listings. The Fashion Show was alright but not as good as Project Runway but I'd still probably watch it.
