A settlement has been reached in the wrongful death lawsuit that was filed by the estate of Chris Baker in the wake of the 2008 plane crash that killed Baker and three others while injuring Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and DJ AM (Adam Goldstein). Baker, 29, was Barker’s friend and personal assistant. According to documents filed by the Baker estate in Los Angeles Superior Court, a group of defendants including Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and Lear Jet Inc. has agreed to pay $4.375 million to Baker’s three-year-old son, Sebastian, and $7.625 million to his widow, Otilia Villar Baker. Barker settled his lawsuit from the crash in December, while Goldstein’s estate agreed to a deal in January. (Goldstein died of an accidental overdose in September.)
