3 Final Couples Compete- 3-hour Finale Episode airs 05/19/09 starting at 8/7c PM.
The 3 Finalist (Shawn, Melissa and Gilles) compete and the winner is chosen. The winner of the mirror ball trophy will be announced and the stars of this season return to dance one more time! The Pro Dancer is chosen for Season 9.
Music artist Lady GaGa and Comedian Jeffrey Ross perform.

MAYO ALANEN and ANNA DEMIDOVA were the final two pro dancers up for the spot on Season 9.
Anna wins the spot.

Max is an a-hole. Did you see when he was dancing with Denise Richards tonight? He wouldn't smile and acted like he hated having to dance with her. I guess because he thinks she made him lose and then when the new dancer Anna went to dance with him, Tom said, "she tamed Max" and he started shaking his head and finger "NO", like don't say she's better than me. I see why not to many people like him.

That was funny when the comedian Jeffrey Ross was roasting the dancers and called Gilles the contestant with the hardest name to pronouce and said, "You were in the movie Sex and The City. You might not of had the best role but you had the "biggest part", lol.
All 3 couples got 30 tonights. Kind of weird because most of the season the judges acted like they didn't want to give 10's.
They are about to announce the winner. Getting ready to eliminate one couple now.

Melissa Rycroft and Tony just eliminated. Comes down to Gilles Marini or Shawn Johnson.
I thought Melissa had a good chance of winning.

I loved watching both couples and am happy with the results!!! She's a cutie and so is Mark! I would have been happy with either of the final 3
